Chiefs player celebrates Super Bowl win by paying adoption fees for shelter dogs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) – Derrick Nnadi helps homeless dogs find new homes within the wake of his Super Bowl win.

The defensive tackle is paying the adoption fees for all the dogs currently available at KC Pet Project.
The response from people looking to adopt a furry friend at the shelter has been very positive.

“We had an enormous line of individuals at our locations this morning to adopt, which is simply wonderful! thus far , many pets are going home and we’re so excited for them,” consistent with Tori Fugate, Chief Communications Officer at KCPP
Nnadi has been helping out homeless animals all season through the Derrick Nnadi Foundation‘s partnership with KCPP.

Fugate added, “KC Pet Project cares for over 10,000 pets a year, so partnerships like this are so wonderful to assist our pets find loving, forever homes. We’re thrilled and honored that Derrick Nnadi chose to try to to this to assist us save lives in Kansas City. Our community is on bliss following last night’s win and this is often such a heartwarming story to travel along side this huge victory. ”
